Laser Cutting Sheet Metal Components


Tubecon Laser is able to laser cut various sheet metal components of up to 6 x 2 meters with thicknesses ranging from 1mm up to 22mm.

Laser cut parts include:

  • Flanges
  • Base Plates
  • Gears
  • Washers
  • This is only a few of the basic sheet metal components we can cut, send through your custom base plate drawing and let us quote.

These and any other laser cut parts can be cut out of the following material:

  • Mild Steel
  • Various Stainless Steels
  • 3CR12
  • Hardox
  • Weldox
  • Domex

  • The material properties closest to the cutting seam will not be affected, while the heat-affected zone is between 0.04mm to 0.06mm.

  • In comparison to other profile cutting technologies the overall production time is relatively low due to the high cutting speed of a laser.

Tubecon laser supplies sheet metal components to customers throughout South Africa. We have trucks delivering throughout Gauteng on a daily basis as well as in Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban, Pinetown and Polokwane two to three times a week. We are however not limited to these areas.
